Position Overview: The Infrastructure Systems Manager’s primary responsibility is to oversee the streamlined operation of the Infrastructure Systems team and ensure it aligns with the business objectives of the organization. This position is responsible for infrastructure, performance, availability, incident, capacity, configuration, and change-management processes and for the tools, vendors, and resources to support 24×7 uptime and availability SLAs. The candidate must have in-depth, hands-on technical skills in networking Azure, Office 365, VMware, Identity management appreciating the impact of how these backend technologies serve front end applications, corporate functions, and business process to serve our patients. Specific Responsibilities: * Manage operations of a hybrid cloud infrastructure team * Manage 3rd Part service Vendors, e.g., NOC, security, engineering, ISP * Collaborate across departments both inside and outside of IT * Manage several IT projects simultaneously * Measure team productivity. * Manage and assign work to staff optimizing productivity based on skills and capacity * Evaluate and monitor workload of staff to ensure projects are on time and implementing change when necessary. Provide top-notch customer service with tech standards * Interact with various internal and external groups to facilitate successful project completion * Other duties as may be assigned by the department director * Manage current network and operating systems, hardware, protocols, and standards * Minimum of 10 years’ experience with Microsoft Windows Servers infrastructure including Active Directory management and implementation * Provide direct support to other technology teams * Migration and support knowledge of cloud services – Azure/Office 365 * Cisco networking, including firewalls, routers, client-access switches, wireless technologies, and network segmentation. * VIOP technologies * VMware virtualization (ESX, vCenter) * Hyper Convergence technology (Simplivity preferred) * Networking technologies including DMVPN, MPLS, Datacenter core networking, branch networking, and remote access VPN * Ability to work in group setting and independently; ability to adjust to changing priorities * Evaluate vendors, technologies, and products to determine proper fit to business objectives. Provide updates and summaries to IT management on proposed solutions and strategies * Stay informed of current technology trends and propose proactive improvements to premise and cloud-based infrastructure to solve problems, increase reliability, and drive efficiencies * Execute troubleshooting skills, think analytically while working in a fast paced dynamic and growing IT environment, and the flexibility to work with a wide range of technologies Education and Experience: * At least 10 years of IT experience with at least 3 years’ experience in a management or leadership role of technical team member * Change management skills/experience * Strong security and compliance practices * Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience and/or military experience * Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (oral, verbal, and presentation) Competencies: Impact and Influence: Works effectively with and through others Personal Effectiveness/Credibility: Ability to promise and deliver results, build effective relationships and establish a reliable track record. Physical Demands: The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision and the ability to adjust focus. Travel: Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-the-area and overnight travel may be expected.
