E01022 – VP of Sales Marketing and Census Development

Full-time Position



Recovery Centers of America (RCA) is seeking a VP of Sales Marketing and Census Development. Since 2016, RCA has pioneered an affordable, neighborhood-based model of providing addiction care to help patients suffering drug and alcohol addictions. Scrapping the traditional "rehab center" model of flying to another state for treatment, RCA’s mission of helping save a million lives one neighborhood at a time, focuses on evidence-based treatment provided by top clinicians–treatment that can include the family AND is close to home, just like a traditional hospital or physician’s office. Thus far, RCA has treated over 50,000 patients. RCA is expanding within the Northeast, as well as into the Midwest and South.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for being the liaison between Business Development and Marketing for the purposes of packaging our service offerings and creating very specific messaging/talk tracks to be brought into the field by the BD Team, as well as building the collateral material to support these product lines. Messaging/Talk Tacks will also be trained in all departments within RCA; including, but not limited to, Alumni, Mission Center, Outpatient, Inpatient, MAT.
  • Assist the Business Development Team with improving/accelerating Sales Process. "How do we get to YES?" Working with Sales Training and VP of Sales to improve technique of all BD Reps.
  • working with Sales Operations to develop a road map for Account Management and building out CRM to reflect that roadmap. Road Map will differ based on account vertical (Hospitals, Payors, Third Party Administrators, Government, etc.)
  • Develop a very clear plan for customer success. How do we ensure all referral partners are getting the necessary feedback for all of their patients. We will call this "Project Engage". How do we follow up with referral sources to report on our Outcomes?
  • Assess all work being done with Inside Sales. Develop a detailed plan on how we can improve all current campaigns and what new initiatives can be built to improve results. Talk Tracks, collateral, cadence, etc..
  • working with Sales Training team to develop a comprehensive mentoring program to accelerate the productivity of new members of the Outside Business Development Team.
  • Responsible for keeping the "finger of the pulse" of what is resonating in the market. Consulting with Alumni, BD, OP staff to ensure the services we are delivering are positioning us appropriately in the market.


Additionally, the VP of Sales Marketing may lead an account management and/or client services team and provides direction and insight regarding all pre- and post-sale client activities including:

  • Account installation
  • Reporting and analytics
  • Monthly, quarterly and yearly account reviews
  • Coordination of informational requests between the client and RCA facilities
  • Development of Mission Center talking points, training and technology as related to the client


  • Grow revenue generated by BDO team an incremental $85M over 12-month
  • Increase BDO rep productivity by 25%

Education and Experience:
* Bachelor’s Degree required, Master’s Degree preferred in
Business Administration or a related field.
* At least ten years of experience in a sales environment, preferably in a fast-growing healthcare company
* Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
* Willingness to be flexible in adjusting to new and changing situations
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, specifically Power Point
* Excellent organizational skills required

Work Environment: This person will be required to work remotely while maintaining consistent presence at RCA Corporate Office in King of Prussia, PA.

Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop or kneel. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision and the ability to adjust focus.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

Travel: Up to 75% travel is required which includes local.
