Position Summary:

Recovery Centers of America is seeking a Senior VP of Data Science and Analytics that will define, shape, and operationalize innovative data and analytics function for our businesses. We are looking for an individual who has a passion for changing the status quo in healthcare and for driving industry disruption. This role offers a significant leadership and innovation opportunity for an individual who is looking to impact the future of healthcare services and support. The core responsibilities of the position include developing and leading a team collecting, streamlining, studying and analyzing external and internal data, resulting in thorough, insightful analysis, reports and presentations which can drive our business growth and negotiations, leading to an increase in revenue.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the organization’s data science and analytics subject-matter expert, sourcing and leveraging data from various internal and external sources in order to develop disruptive customer insights and actionable recommendations / segmentation
  • Lead and build a high-performing team and set of capabilities needed to provide these data science, analytics deliverables, visualizations, research, recommendations, and insights across the enterprise, consolidating resources across the enterprise as appropriate.

· Build the capability to be able to report and measure RCA’s treatment outcomes for internal performance management and external benchmarking and customer interactions

· Drive the purchase of external data sources, databases, etc. to know the full medical and financial impact of our care on our patients

· Collaborate with team members from strategy, payer relations, clinical, marketing and other functions to identify data driven opportunities to add value to existing and potential partners

· Create the analysis and reports necessary to drive negotiations with payers, business partners and others

  • Proactively and reactively analyze and recommend new and improved product offerings based off internal and external data
  • Establish and oversee required data governance to provide consistency of operational reporting and analytical outputs (e.g., data elements, definitions, calculations) to ensure alignment with operational and external marketplace reality
  • Continuously stays informed of industry trends, innovations, and strategies regarding large healthcare data sets

· Conceptualize and design innovative models to assess viability of new and ongoing initiatives and clinical programs

· Identify, communicate and lead the resolution of data gaps that impede the fulfilment of operational reporting and oversight

· Present and gain support / commitment from leaderships for growth strategies and plans

· Prepare and present monthly / weekly reports or updates as requested, identifying trends and additional business opportunities

 

 

Education & Experience

  • B.S. or equivalent in computer science, software engineering, computer engineering, healthcare or a related field or M.S. in computer science, software engineering, computer engineering, healthcare or a related field
  • 10+ years of recent, data integrating technologies experience or experience implementing vendor applications or working with healthcare systems
  • Familiarity with Behavioral Health operations
  • Proven subject matter expertise in digital transformation, data, marketing, and customer experience functions. 10+ years leading large data innovation in technology/SaaS companies and a confirmed ability to support Digital Transformation conversations with client executives
  • Direct experience with project delivery and account development for healthcare accounts in professional services or agency environment
  • A track record of effectively managing cross-functional project teams to uncover additional opportunities
  • Experience CRMs, EHR systems, Marketing platforms and medical patient data
  • Well-honed written, verbal and interpersonal skills with strong emotional IQ and "driver" mindset
  • Proven ability to lead and develop teams with balance of growth mindset and accountability
