Existing entirely in-house, the RCA Marketing team, based in King of Prussia, PA, is tasked with portraying the heart and soul of the company, our mission, and the positive impact addiction treatment can have on the lives of not only patients but their loved ones as well. The Senior Social Media Manager for RCA’s Digital Health division will play a key role in that task.

Position Overview:

The Senior Social Media Manager is responsible for developing, executing, managing, optimizing, and reporting on social media strategies to support the D2C marketing efforts for RCA’s Digital Health Platform, Shoutout.

Shoutout is a mobile app that will revolutionize access to substance use recovery and mental health resources. Shoutout is a community of clinicians and healthcare professionals dedicated to connection, inspiration, and education worldwide. Brought to you by Recovery Centers of America, Shoutout aims to eliminate the stigma associated with sharing the need for mental health services.

The Senior Social Media Manager is passionate about providing mental health services and is a seasoned expert in social media. This highly motivated, creative individual will be the voice of Shoutout with current, previous and potential patients, patients’ loved ones, community organizations, advocates, and others on all social media channels.

The ideal candidate will have experience executing successful social media campaigns driving mobile app installs and other online conversions (enrollments, sales, etc.).

 

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Establish and build the Shoutout brand on social media, growing our following from the ground up.
  • Develop and deploy innovative cross-channel social media campaign strategies to drive engagement and brand awareness via multiple social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, TikTok, YouTube, and LinkedIn.
  • Create and implement a social media content calendar, while also staying abreast of relevant breaking news, hot topics, and social trends. Leverage existing content and revise it to be social media optimized, as well as drive the creation of new content.
  • Develop an influencer marketing strategy. Discover potential Shoutout influencers and forging mutually beneficial relationships. Devise ways to identify and engage with potential influencers as well as how to measure success.
  • Craft a brand tone and voice on social, and engage with our community responding to comments, direct messages, and beyond.
  • Allocate social media budgets across platforms, campaigns, tactics, etc. effectively with KPIs to back up your decisions.
  • Monitor, track and report on all social media campaigns to ensure ROI and success in driving and delivering campaign goals including but not limited to followers, reach / impressions, website traffic, downloads, revenue, etc.
  • Identify and report on social media trends to maximize exposure and generate additional revenue.
  • Drive Shoutout app installs and maintain user engagement.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • 5+ years managing social media campaigns for D2C brands focused on engaging with customers and driving a call to action.
  • Experience managing socials for a mobile app company and/or healthcare provider preferred, not required.
  • In depth knowledge of major and upcoming social media platforms including: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, Snapchat, YouTube, etc.
  • Writing samples and content engagement examples will be requested.
  • Paid social experience preferred, not required.
  • Proven problem solver and go-getter with multi-tasking skills and the love of a fast-paced work environment.
  • Expert time and project management skills to plan, execute and analyze multiple campaigns simultaneously.
