Position Overview: The Digital Marketing Director develops, plans, coordinates, and executes overall digital marketing strategy, including eCommerce, email marketing, mobile marketing, social networking and digital/online communities, search engine marketing, and corporate website. Work closely with advertising, marketing, sales, and Web design and development teams to ensure that digital and online marketing strategy supports business strategy. Evaluates end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points.
 
Specific Responsibilities:
* Plan and execute all web, SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and display advertising campaigns
* Design, build and maintain our social media presence
* Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs)
* Identify trends and insights, and optimize spend and performance based on the insights
* Brainstorm new and creative growth strategies
* Plan, execute, and measure experiments and conversion tests
* Collaborate with internal teams to create landing pages and optimize user experience
* Utilize strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points
* Instrument conversion points and optimize user funnels
* Collaborate with agencies and other vendor partners
* Evaluate emerging technologies. Provide thought leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriate

Minimum Qualifications
* BS/MS degree in marketing or a related field
* Proven working experience in digital marketing
* Demonstrable experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and/or display advertising campaigns
* Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate
* Experience in optimizing landing pages and user funnels
* Solid knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, NetInsight, Omniture, WebTrends)
* Working knowledge of ad serving tools (e.g., DART, Atlas)
* Experience in setting up and optimizing Google Adwords campaigns
* Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints
* Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
* Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement
* Computer Skills: Microsoft Outlook and Word with advanced Excel skills (Salesforce CRM preferred).

Work Environment: This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
 
Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision and the ability to adjust focus.
 
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
 
Travel: Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-the-area and overnight travel may be expected.
