Position Summary:

Recovery Centers of America (RCA) is seeking a master of cloud-native technology and techniques to fill the Technology Director of Cloud and Infrastructure role, which has direct ownership of strategy, execution, and daily operations. Reporting to the Chief Information Officer, this role will ensure that RCA has the necessary resources to execute their ambitious growth plans with the on-time delivery of IT projects. The Technology Director of Cloud and Infrastructure is responsible for growing and managing a team of systems and network engineers to implement and operate new technology and applications. This role is expected to be "hands-on" and will work collaboratively with the other peer leaders in assigned business areas, both within IT and our Business Unit partners.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Lead all aspects of technology infrastructure engineering, operations, and management of on-prem and cloud-based production systems to ensure availability, performance, and scalability
• Manage, innovate, and create new processes, automation, and tooling that continuously improve our product and services’ availability, scalability, latency, and efficiency
• Define strategy, processes, and procedures for 24×7 site reliability, run books, escalation workflows, production incident resolution, and disaster recovery plans
• Ownership of all Cloud, Network, Virtualization. Server, Datacenter, Microsoft 365, and related enterprise computing software (Mimecast, Cisco ISE, Duo, etc.)
• Responsible for all Microsoft services, including AD, DNS, DHCP scopes, etc.
• Develop a systems and network engineers’ team to deliver unparalleled availability and secure computing to the RCA enterprise
• Oversee budgeting for technology infrastructure and cloud computing

• Research technological solutions to problems and technical opportunities
• Demonstrate strong leadership skills by mentoring, coaching, and giving timely, accurate feedback to employees for development purposes
• Effectively communicate with all levels of management and across all functional areas regarding applicable IT priorities and project statuses
• Build and maintain information technology with the capability that reflects innovation and is consistent with company needs and budget
• Demonstrate the ability to manage conflicts and issues regarding matters of significance
• Interview and determine appropriate hiring and termination decisions to improve the team
• Represent the department and the organization favorably and always uphold the established company standards and associate attributes
• Maintain professional, technical, and industry knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies
• Contribute to greater organizational efforts by collaboration across all of IT and all Business Units

Education & Experience

• BS – in Life Sciences, Engineering, or IT related discipline — or applicable work experience
• 10+ years of experience regulated industry
• Experience in leading or managing teams
• Strong Incident Management, Trouble Shooting, and Root Cause
• Proficient in Information Security, preferably in a healthcare environment.
• Expertise in Systems, Network, and Cloud Engineering
• Ability to work both independently and with teams at various levels in the organization
• Ability to work in a very dynamic environment with a clear sense of urgency
• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, and accuracy
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, as well as capable of presenting the right level of information to management
